Meet the Fullers. You know them, of course; during their initial run on the airwaves from 1987 and ’95, they became something of a household name, all thanks to series creator Jeff Franklin.

Two decades on from their heyday, Netflix staged a very special family reunion earlier this year with the premiere of Fuller House, a sequel to that cherished, long-running sitcom. In fact, no sooner had the online giant rolled out the inaugural season than it confirmed a second season order, ensuring that, yes, those Fullers – barring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen – would be back in the not-so-distant future.

As it happens, buoyed by an overwhelmingly strong reception, Fuller House season 2 was quickly fast-tracked into production back in March and we now have word of its due date: December 9, 2016. Comprised of 13 episodes in total, beyond the promotional artwork embedded below, there’s scant information out in the open, but given its seasonal release window, we fully expect some festive shenanigans to occur in the Fuller household.

Among those on board for the show’s sophomore outing are Candace Cameron Bure as D.J. Tanner-Fuller, Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie Tanner, Andrea Barber as Kimmy Gibbler and many, many more. Meanwhile, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin are expected to guest appear throughout the course of season 2.

Welcome back. Welcome home. Fuller House opens its doors for a second season via Netflix on December 9. To sate your appetite, the official artwork featuring the whole clan recreating the classic Tanner picnic scene from the opening titles can be found below.
