Welcome to the very first edition of our new video web show, TV Talk. Following hot on the heels of Geek Out, which began several weeks ago, TV Talk is another new weekly series brought to you by We Got This Covered. As the title implies, on each instalment we’ll be taking a look at some of our favorite TV shows and bringing you our thoughts on them in a quick, easy to digest video.
To kick things off, we’re starting out with the Girl of Steel herself, as Supergirl has now moved to The CW and had its season 2 premiere earlier tonight. Our very own Robert Yaniz already brought you his thoughts on the episode, but TV Talk is here to give you a different take on the events of the premiere, running through the highs and the lows and what worked and what didn’t.
In case you haven’t caught up yet, on this episode of Supergirl, “Superman pays his cousin a visit, leaving Alex feeling left out. Meanwhile, the inhabitant of the landing pod is revealed.” It’s a slightly flawed though mostly satisfying start to the new season, and it’s certainly left us wanting more.
