The Joker Is Off The Wall In New Suicide Squad BTS Image

By now, most of you know that Suicide Squad will be granted an extended cut when it makes its way to Blu-Ray later this fall, effectively following in the footsteps of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition. Said to boast thirteen minutes of extra scenes, it should flesh out the backstory shared by Joker and Harley Quinn, along with who knows what else.

The beefed up home video edition should no doubt please one Jared Leto, who not only got so deep into the role of the Clown Prince of Crime and was said to never have broken character between takes, but also expressed some consternation upon learning that so many of his scenes had been cut from the theatrical release and later claiming he shot enough footage to make for a solo Joker movie.

Photographer Clay Enos recently Tweeted out a rather fun picture today that provides further evidence of Leto’s commitment to the role as he climbs the side of his Chinook between takes of shooting the pivotal rooftop scene. That most certainly is staying in character and I can’t help but look at that image without thinking to myself, “that seems about right.”

I guess we’ll find out what other surprises The Joker has in store for us when Suicide Squad arrives on Digital HD on November 15th, before making its way to Blu-Ray and DVD on December 13.
