Listen To Michael Giacchino’s End Credits Track From Marvel’s Doctor Strange

Michael Giacchino (whose credits include everything from Lost to Star Trek, and the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) is the person responsible for “The Master of the Mystic,” and it definitely feels like it’s a sound which has been inspired by Pink Floyd, and possibly even Sherlock. That too stars Benedict Cumberbatch, but any similarities there are likely coincidental. Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson has, however, shared a number of Pink Floyd tracks on Twitter alongside images featuring the Sorcerer Supreme, so it makes sense that the band’s influence can be heard here.

The track is going to play over the end credits, and it’ll be interesting see if it offers up a taste of the character’s theme. Each of the Marvel heroes have a pretty unique sound, and if this is Doctor Strange‘s, we can probably expect to hear it a lot more over the next few years as the hero makes his presence felt in the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe.
