Around 12 months ago, the interlude between Game of Thrones seasons 5 and 6 was heavily slanted toward the fate of Jon Snow, the fallen Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch.
This time around, in anticipation for the show’s seventh season, online speculation is much more widespread, focusing on different elements of the Westerosi chess board as the Game of Thrones power players begin to come together. That was one of the big takeaways from season six, with the final scene showcasing Daenerys Targaryen setting sail across the Narrow Sea to lay claim to the Iron Throne.
Even if next year’s stint is only seven episodes in length, fans are in for a treat. But the Internet is dark and full of spoilers, and with Game of Thrones season 7 still in active production across various parts of Europe, a flurry of set photos and one video has identified a monumental meeting between two key characters.
