Neighbor kid allegedly throws girl’s doll in the storm drain. So she plots a weeks-long revenge: ‘We heard him screaming in the middle of the night’

"Your sister bought some therapist a new BMW."

A recent story by content creator voiceandvigor just threaded the line between childhood mischief and horror movie setup. On Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, his stories of the shenanigans his sister has engaged in never fail to impress his fans. Now, this elaborate revenge plot has racked up over 11 million views in three days, just on Instagram and TikTok

It began when the neighboring kid allegedly angered his sister, Cassandra, while she was playing with a doll. “So she was playing with it in the front yard, and this guy came out and said some stupid shit like ‘dolls are dumb’ and just grabbed it and threw it in the rain. Like the storm drain gutter thing,” he claimed in his post. Purportedly, despite having other dolls, she told her brother that she needed “this one back cause I have a plan.”

“So after I had lowered her down into the storm drain by her feet and pulled her back up, uh, we had this doll that was looking all ragged now, and she goes, alright, we gotta get up in the attic,” he narrated. He then became an amused witness as she got to work. He claimed that she set up a curtain and light to cast a creepy silhouette. Then he alleged that his sister began a campaign to creep the neighbor out.

Therein began the tales of Ashley

According to voiceandvigor, every time Cassandra saw the kid, she would go up to him and say things like, “Ashley didn’t like getting thrown in the gutter. Ashley says she wants to show you what it’s like down there in the dark.” Then she supposedly took it further: “And after she had done like different poses with the silhouette, you know, like holding weaponry and stuff, she had it wide open and put the dolls, like, both hands on the glass.”

Per voiceandvigor, their parents weren’t around that day. so the neighbor kid came over to demand they stop. He claimed he followed Cassandra’s orders to play dumb. Then when the kid dragged voiceandvigor out, the doll was gone.

“He freaked out a bit, but it wasn’t enough for her,” voice and vigor noted. He narrated that she decided to take it to the next level and infiltrate the house through their dog door, saving bacon to distract the neighbor’s dog. “Uh, she grabbed a big old kitchen knife, cut open this kid’s pillow, uh, at the edge, and, like, stuffed, uh, her, you know, the doll, inside the pillow,” he alleged.

The result was something they all heard. As voiceandvigor put it, “And that night was a warm summer night, and nobody had AC in the area, so the windows were open. And we could. We heard him screaming in the middle of the night. Then she was satisfied.” Now, it should be noted that all we have is voiceandvigor’s perspective. We have no proof, nor do we have the perspectives of Cassandra or the neighbor to establish this as more than a fun story.

That being said, the internet loved the story. Commenters are calling her a “vengeful Queen” and comparing her to Wednesday Addams. One YouTube user perfectly captured the sentiment, writing, “Not eating one’s bacon in order to pull something off of this magnitude shows true commitment…” Another commenter noted, “Your sister bought some therapist a new BMW.”

One TikToker praised her: “Diabolical on so many levels. I genuflect to her.” On Instagram, a commenter added, “Your sister stories are UNHINGED and I’m here for it lolol.” Some siblings remain committed to pranks, and revenge well into adulthood. One pair of siblings has been locked in a gift ‘arms race’ to annoy each other through their children. In another case, a man claimed he and his siblings united to target their mother’s ex after he had an affair.

It’s worth noting that child development experts often view these kinds of social interactions through a different lens. Psychologist Kate Eshleman from the Cleveland Clinic emphasizes that social skills are vital for navigating the challenges of growing up. While most parents want their children to make friends and socialize in healthy ways, it’s not always a smooth process.

Per the site, Dr. Eshleman suggests that when kids struggle to fit in or experience social anxiety, parents should coach them on basic social strategies, like active listening and open body language. Dr. Eshleman points out that parents should observe how their kids socialize and gently guide them if they’re having trouble.

In Cassandra’s case, she caused trouble, but the internet loved it enough for some to suggest she should be “President.” It’s a wild, funny, and slightly terrifying look at what happens when a kid decides to settle a score.
