Nipping at the heels of last week’s rather majestic reveal, Empire has now rolled out its Daily Prophet-esque limited cover for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and you can see those old-timey pages come alive in the video below.

Available from October 27th, 5000 copies of the lively edition will be available in participating retailers, with a handful also expected to go live online soon thereafter. Each copy will no doubt fetch a fair few Galleons across the interwebs through time, and there’s no question that this is a very special collector’s item for the Potterhead in us all.

Per Empire, we understand that the actual cover of The New York Ghost – the American sister publication to The Daily Prophet – plays two separate videos. The first of which takes you behind-the-scenes of Fantastic Beasts, and will feature interviews from leading stars including Eddie Redmayne. There’s also talks with David Yates and J.K. Rowling, the two creative minds that helped birth this magical new franchise in the first place. Meanwhile, the second snippet showcases the spinoff’s most recent trailer.

“We love to innovate and constantly push the envelope creatively,” says Empire’s Editor-in-Chief Terri White. “Our friends at Warner Bros. Pictures were the perfect partner for our most ambitious idea yet – making the cover move. Our readers are going to be desperate to get their hands on a copy and see the new world of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them brought to life.”

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them jump-starts a whole new adventure when David Yates’ spinoff scurries into theaters on November 16. It’ll pave the way for a further four films in Warner’s newfound saga, with a sequel already dated for November of 2018.
