Skrillex, What So Not And RL Grime’s Collab Gets A Release Date

Last month, What So Not and RL Grime stirred up intense anticipation among fans when they announced that they had finished a follow up collaboration to their 2014 joint effort "Tell Me." As if that wasn't enough, it was subsequently revealed that Skrillex was in on the song too after What So Not debuted it during a live set. The song resurfaced again today in RL Grime's latest Halloween mix, and now we have a song title and release date for the tune thanks to some crafty sleuthing.

Last month, What So Not and RL Grime stirred up intense anticipation among fans when they announced that they had finished a follow up collaboration to their 2014 joint effort “Tell Me.” As if that wasn’t enough, it was subsequently revealed that Skrillex was in on the song too after What So Not debuted it during a live set. The song resurfaced again today in RL Grime’s latest Halloween mix, and now we have a title and release date for the tune thanks to some crafty sleuthing.

By Shazaming the new Halloween mix when the collaboration plays, listeners have been able to deduce that the song will be called “Waiting.” And, by searching for it on Amazon, we discover that the triple collaboration  between Skrillex, RL Grime and What So Not will be arriving next week, on November 3.

With three of trap’s biggest innovators all contributing their unique production elements while delivering a rowdy bass heavy sound to boot, “Waiting” is the kind of release that fans dream of. Considering all the hype behind this one, it’s a relief to know we’ll be able to get our hands on the finished product in just a few more days.
