With another riveting episode of Gotham set to air tonight, Fox has released a new promo video highlighting a good man’s descent into madness to whet our appetites.
Aside from the much anticipated return of Poison Ivy, a major reason to tune in tonight will be to see what lies ahead for Nathaniel Barnes. Since being infected by the blood of Alice, he’s slowly been driven mad, thinking himself to be judge, jury, and executioner. Knowing that “Mad City: The Executioner” might feature the final showdown between Barnes and Jim Gordon definitely qualifies as must see TV, or at least we’d like to think so.
Narrated by the Mad Hatter himself, Benedict Samuel, the new video succinctly chronicles the unfortunate series of events that have transpired for Barnes in recent weeks. While it remains unknown if Samuel himself will factor heavily into this episode, the possibility of him once again verbally twisting the proverbial knife won’t make matters any better for the crazed GCPD captain.
