Things haven’t been going well for Kanye West lately. Earlier today, he cancelled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour after missing several shows over the last little while. At the time, we were told that he was under extreme stress and suffering from sleep deprivation. Now, we’ve learnt that the rapper has been hospitalized “for his own health and safety.”

Not only that, but according to TMZ, he was transported to the hospital in handcuffs. It all started when West began acting “erratically” while with his trainer, Harley Pasternak. Authorities were called and by the time they arrived, he had apparently calmed down a bit but was still reluctant to seek help. Things eventually escalated again and West “was restrained by handcuffs to a gurney during transport to a hospital in Los Angeles,” where he’ll undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

At the time of writing, there’s no further information on the situation and it’s still unclear what exactly is going on with the rapper. However, it’s clear that he’s not in good shape (which is evident from some recent incidents that have taken place). As we wait for further updates, we wish Kanye West all the best and hope for a speedy recovery.
