Production on the film is beginning to round the final corner, now that Zack Snyder’s ensemble movie is lensing across parts of Iceland to capture the final scenes – scenes which seem to revolve heavily around Jason Momoa’s Arthur Curry aka Aquaman. It’s the King of the Seven who’s seen rising from the depths in this latest video, as we get a glimpse of the hero in what looks to be some very cold water. Nothing significant is revealed here, but it’s still nice to get more of the mysterious Justice League character.

Sure, we did see him show up briefly in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, but Aquaman hasn’t really made his presence in the DCEU felt yet, and with his solo movie not arriving until October 2018, it might be some time before we’re properly acquainted with him. Thankfully, he’ll have a pretty significant role in Snyder’s upcoming film, giving us a chance to get familiar with the hero before James Wan’s standalone outing dives deeper into his backstory. Also starring Willem Dafoe (Vulko), Patrick Wilson (Orm) and Amber Heard (Mera), the 2018 pic will operate on a $160 million budget and provide over 1,200 jobs for locals, according to a report unearthed by ComicBook.com.

Circling back to Justice League though, the tentpole will star Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Ray Fisher, Gal Gadot, Ciarán Hinds, Ezra Miller and Jason Momoa, and is set to be released on November 17th, 2017.
