The midseason finale of Arrow seemingly provided some pretty underwhelming answers about the identity of Prometheus, but we’ve yet to find out who’s truly beneath the villain’s mask. Intent on destroying the life of Oliver Queen, he’s already tricked the Green Arrow into murdering Felicity’s boyfriend, hence why she can be seen here with the vigilante trying to track him down.

Interestingly, the gallery above from “Who Are You?” (which may be an appropriate title given the intrigue surrounding Prometheus’ identity) focuses almost solely on Oliver’s clash with Prometheus rather than the shocking return of Laurel Lance. However, a recently released promo already shed some light on how exactly the Black Canary has seemingly been resurrected.

Despite not hailing from the comic books, Prometheus has arguably been one of Arrow‘s best villains yet, and theories about his identity continue to do the rounds. That being said, there’s nothing to say he really is a he, especially as it’s become clear that there’s more than meets the eye to Oliver’s new love interest, television reporter Susan Williams. That may seem like a stretch, but stranger things have happened, and we know that we’re going to get at least a few more clues in the midseason premiere when Talia al Ghul makes her debut.

We’ll have to wait and see how it all plays out, but feel free to let us know your thoughts on Arrow‘s big mystery in the comments section below and stay tuned for more.
