Justice League Dark Set To Premiere In NYC And LA

2017 is set to be the year that DC turns their Extended Universe around. At least, we sure hope it is. After the poor response to both Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, the company now has the chance to right their wrongs with two huge films: Wonder Woman and Justice League. So far, things look promising, but before we get the chance to lay eyes on those aforementioned blockbusters, there's going to be another DC effort coming our way that looks to deliver something quite different.

Arriving courtesy of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Justice League Dark is the highly anticipated new entry into DC’s super popular animated universe. With an R-rating and a suitably gritty tone, it’s got fans awfully excited as that February 7th home video release date draws closer. But for those hoping to catch it on the big screen, we’ve got some good news. According to Collider, the film is set to premiere in both Los Angeles and NYC.

On the West coast, it’ll arrive at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills on January 23rd at 7pm, while the East coast will see it touch down at the Director’s Guild of America in New York on February 2nd, also at 7pm. Furthermore, several members of the cast and crew will be in attendance to host post-screening panels. Matt Ryan, Nicholas Turturro, Ray Chase and more are all expected to show up to make the premieres that much more special.

If you’re hoping to get in on the fun, the studio is giving you the chance to win up to 4 tickets by simply emailing either [email protected] or [email protected], depending on which screening you want to hit. Just include your name, how many tickets you want and the website on which you first found out about the premiere and you’ll be automatically entered to win.

It’s first come first serve, but we still suggest giving it a shot. These premieres sound like an awesome way to watch Justice League Dark and will no doubt be one experience that you won’t want to miss out on should you count yourself as a DC fan.
