Placing a heavy emphasis on the recently talked about upcoming book Monsters Unleashed, the popular web series recently kicked off its second season. Consisting of episodes averaging around one minute in length, each will bring viewers up to date on characters they may or may not be intimately familiar with, hoping that by the end they will say, “Make mine Marvel,” with conviction.

In this particular episode, “Finders, Keepers,” you can expect to learn more about Taneleer Tivan, also known as the Collector, and be brought up to speed with his growing obsession to own anything he lays his eyes on. If that name sounds familiar to you, it should because he has twice appeared on screen, specifically in Thor: The Dark World and Guardians of the Galaxy. Now that you’ve placed a name to the face, you’ll no doubt recall the nuanced performances of one Benicio del Toro.

What’s also cool about the video is that you get to take in a wide range of artwork spanning Tivan’s existence. Whenever a new illustrator touches a character, they add their own flourishes and update them for the current era, so to see various interpretations is always a welcome treat.
