Game Of Thrones Season 7 Will See The Return Of Another Deceased Character

If you were expecting a fan-favorite character like Robb or Catelyn Stark after reading the title, we're sorry, as it's actually someone you probably hoped you'd never have to lay eyes on again. The folks over at Watchers on the Wall report that the loathsome Walder Frey will return for the next season of Game of Thrones, after noticing that the official page for actor John Bradley at United Agents has been updated to include season 7 of HBO's ever-popular fantasy drama series in his list of credits.

If you were expecting a fan-favorite character like Robb or Catelyn Stark after reading the title, we’re sorry, as it’s actually someone you probably hoped you’d never have to lay eyes on again. The folks over at Watchers on the Wall report that the loathsome Walder Frey will return for the next season of Game of Thrones, after noticing that the official page for actor John Bradley at United Agents has been updated to include season 7 of HBO’s ever-popular fantasy drama series in his list of credits.

Frey rose to infamy when he planned and helped carry out the murders of several well-loved main characters at the Red Wedding towards the end of season 3, and fans immediately began to bay for his blood. Though he managed to keep breathing for a while after, Arya Stark finally caught up with him in the season 6 finale and gave new meaning to the phrase “revenge is a dish best served cold” when she fed him his own sons in a pie, and then proceeded to cut his throat.

Just because we’ll be seeing Frey again, it’s highly unlikely his return will involve a Jon Snow-like resurrection. Chances are it’ll either be a flashback, or that Arya will perform a little trick she learned from her time as a Faceless Man and wear the old villain’s face as a disguise to escape from The Riverlands.

Game of Thrones will return for its penultimate season later this year. We’ve already had a brief glimpse of some official footage from the upcoming episodes, but it shouldn’t be too much longer now before HBO puts out a full trailer.
