Available across PS4, Xbox One and PC, registration for the imminent technical test officially opened back in December, though there’s still time to toss your name in the hat. If you’re in luck, Ubisoft will notify you via email, inviting you and three “Ubisoft friends” to partake in the Wildlands closed beta before it goes offline on February 6th. Keep in mind those allies will need to be playing on the same platform.

Per Ubisoft:

“From February 3-6, aspiring Ghosts and their co-op partners will infiltrate the province of Itacua where they can work towards dismantling the Santa Blanca cartel in any way they choose. Players will be able to travel solo or team up with up to three friends in co-op as they take advantage of the wide variety of vehicles, weapons, and equipment available to the Ghosts.”

Wildlands isn’t the only Ubisoft tentpole to a host a Closed Beta in the weeks leading up to launch – For Honor, the online medieval experience, is expected to undergo a technical test of its own from today, January 26th. It’ll run through Sunday, January 29th, lending you plenty of time to get acquainted with the three warring factions of Ubisoft’s actioner.

As for Ghost Recon Wildlands, a pair of all-new gameplay demos were released alongside today’s announcement. The first previews the lush open world of Bolivia, while the second (see below) features a host of Ubisoft developers outlining the many ways to approach a mission in the upcoming shooter.

Ghost Recon Wildlands deploys for duty across PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 7th.
