Available across all three platforms – namely PS4, Xbox One and PC – the technical test will run through until January 29, lending Ubisoft enough time to host the War of Factions. It’s a limited time event, essentially, designed to track all multiplayer battles, victories, losses, and other activities – expect a fancy infographic to hit the interwebs soon after the Closed Beta wraps up, in typical Ubisoft fashion. Upon booting up the early build, you’ll be asked to pledge allegiance to one of For Honor‘s three factions: Knights, Vikings, or Samurai.

There are in-game rewards up for grabs for those who participate; known as the Emblems of Old, beta participants will be able to use the items to decorate their respective arsenal. What’s more, if you find yourself on the winning faction you’ll unlock additional goodies – goodies that will carry over to the full game on February 14. Sign-up is now open, and you can fill in the necessary form through the official Ubisoft blog.

For Honor will launch for PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 14, 2017. A GameStop-exclusive Collector’s Edition is also available. Known as the Apollyon Collector’s Edtion, the premium package will set you back an eye-watering $220 and even includes a 14″ Apollyon statue.
