Here’s When You’ll Get To See The New Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Trailer

May 5th is quickly approaching and in just a few more months, we'll get to embark on another intergalactic adventure with our favorite bunch of A-Holes. Of course, we're referring to James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which will be with us shortly and is really starting to kick its promotional campaign into high gear now. Not that it needs to, as everyone and their grandmother will be checking this one out regardless, but we're happy about it nonetheless.

Of course, we’re referring to James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which will be with us shortly and is really starting to kick its promotional campaign into high gear now. Not that it needs to, mind you, as everyone and their grandmother will be checking this one out regardless, but we’re happy about it nonetheless.

So far, Marvel’s been pretty smart with their marketing, giving us just enough to excite and intrigue but also not spoiling anything from the plot. We really have very little idea as to what the Guardians will be up to this time around, aside from that it’ll be another thrilling outing, and honestly, we’re kind of alright with that.

With so many new characters set to feature and a lot of questions surrounding them, it’s going to be a lot of fun walking into the film not knowing what to expect. In an age where so many Hollywood blockbusters tend to show too much in hopes of getting people hooked before release, it’s refreshing to see the studio playing it differently here and we applaud them for it.

That being said, there will be one (presumably) final trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 before it hits theaters and it will be with us this Tuesday. Chris Pratt will debut the footage on Jimmy Kimmel Live and it’s expected to make its way online shortly after, as is always the case. As such, you can expect to see it around midnight or 12:30am EST – depending on when during the show they decide to debut it.

There’s no word yet on what it will bring us, but the trailer probably won’t give away too much, instead just teasing the team dynamic, the action and perhaps a few more glances at some of the new characters. It may also give us a look at Kurt Russell’s Ego the Living Planet, but we can’t say for sure.

Either way, we’re certainly excited to get another preview for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. It’s testing incredibly well and with any luck, it might just surpass its predecessor. We have no reason to believe that it won’t and with the way it’s looking so far, it could very well end up as 2017’s best comic movie. We’ll have to wait and see on that, but be sure to stay tuned on Tuesday night as we’ll have that new trailer for you as soon as it goes live.
