That sentiment could especially be aimed at the first clip, which sees Mon-El’s parents, Lar Gand and Rhea, visit him at work. Not surprisingly, they aren’t happy seeing royalty earning an hourly wage, making me recall similar events seen in Coming to America.

Likewise, Mon-El is less than thrilled with the bounty put on his girlfriend’s head, which he suspects to be their fault. Honestly, that’s what we’ve been expecting for a while, too, but we’ll all just have to tune in to see who the culprit really is. Aside from maybe Cadmus, the list of suspects is quite short.

As for the second clip, it sees Alex and Maggie run into an ex-girlfriend of the latter, who is unfortunately not Batwoman. Awkwardly enough, she wishes to catch up with her former flame, making it known right in front of Alex. Being cooler about the situation than most would be in her shoes, it seems the three will go out for dinner, so we’ll just have to see how that turns out.
