The Punisher Gets A Badass New Fan Poster

Now that Marvel's debuted solo series on Netflix for each of their street-level heroes - that's Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist - all eyes have turned towards the upcoming miniseries, The Defenders. However, there's another Marvel show set to hit the streaming service soon and it's arguably just as exciting. Of course, we're referring to The Punisher, which will star Jon Bernthal in the titular role after he first showed up in season 2 of Daredevil.

Now that Marvel’s debuted solo series on Netflix for each of their street-level heroes – that’s Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist – all eyes have turned towards the upcoming miniseries, The Defenders. However, there’s another Marvel show set to hit the streaming service soon and it’s arguably just as exciting. Of course, we’re referring to The Punisher, which will star Jon Bernthal in the titular role after he first showed up in season 2 of Daredevil.

While we’ve already seen an abundance of set photos from the upcoming series, the studio hasn’t really kicked the marketing machine into gear just yet. Given that it won’t premiere until later this year, that’s understandable, but fans are obviously eager to get a look at what this small screen outing will bring us, especially since Bernthal delivered one of the best live-action takes on Frank Castle to date.

The first trailer for The Punisher is expected to debut at Comic-Con in July, but until then, we’ve got a badass new poster courtesy of fan art artist extraordinaire, Boss Logic. There’s not a whole lot to it, but it gives off a dark, dangerous and menacing vibe that suits the antihero quite well. If nothing else, it’s a strong reminder of the tone that we’ll likely get from the series and has us more eager than ever to get a look at some footage this summer (hopefully).

Also starring Ben Barnes, Jason R. Moore, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Deborah Ann Woll, among others, The Punisher will be the third Marvel/Netflix show we’re treated to this year and you can look for it to debut at some point towards the end of 2017.
