Eddie Brock Dresses For Success In Venom #150 First Look

It could certainly be argued that Venom is poised to be a bigger deal than he's ever been before. Think about it: Not only is Eddie Brock once again one with the symbiote, but his first big screen solo outing will finally hit theaters in 2018. In addition to that awesomeness, his eponymous comic book will soon revert to its classic numbering - the first of many Marvel titles to do so in the coming months - with its milestone 150th issue.

It could certainly be argued that Venom is poised to be a bigger deal than he’s ever been before. Think about it: Not only is Eddie Brock once again one with the symbiote, but his first big screen solo outing will finally hit theaters in 2018. In addition to that awesomeness, his eponymous comic book will soon revert to its classic numbering – the first of many Marvel titles to do so in the coming months – with its milestone 150th issue.

As is to be expected from an oversized issue such as this, more than one tale will be found within its pages. First, let’s take a look at the synopsis of the main attraction:

Reunited, and it feels so good! Or, is it bad? Either way you swing it, Eddie Brock is back, and he’s bonding with the symbiote once more ahead of the can’t-miss Venom #150 – the oversized anniversary spectacular coming this May! Series writer Mike Costa is joined by superstar guest artist Tradd Moore for an oversized main story featuring Eddie’s return to the pages of Venom. Bonded together again, Eddie and the symbiote are web-slinging their way across New York City. But, is their relationship as harmonious as it once was? Or is their bond more sinister than ever?

Along with that, Marvel intends on filling in some gaps when the Venom: Space Knight creative team of Robbie Thompson and Gerardo Sandoval let us know just how Flash Thompson parted ways with the symbiote before it came upon Lee Price. Furthermore, the legendary duo of David Michelinie and Ron Lim will return for a tale set within the confines of their Venom: Lethal Protector run.

Venom #150 arrives in comic shops on May 24.
