Yes, what you see below is indeed a picture of their feet, and while it doesn’t look like much on the surface, it actually does a surprisingly good job of emphasizing the difference between the four heroes. Not only that, but it also gets across the gritty feel that these shows have delivered in regards to the Defenders’ corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Circling back to the first trailer though, and those who’ve already seen it will know full well that it’s got a ton great moments, including the return of Elektra and the titular heroes finally crossing paths after their respective shows have teased the possibility of their worlds colliding on numerous occasions. There’s still a lot more to be revealed, too, especially as we don’t yet know exactly who the villains are. Not to mention that the teaser didn’t even show Matt Murdock suited up as Daredevil (the rest of the heroes getting costumes seems unlikely, unfortunately).

The Defenders has thus far been an interesting experiment by Marvel and Netflix, and it’s exciting seeing the heroes finally come together after all these years of teases. Whether or not the eight-part series will live up to expectations remains to be seen, but if nothing else, the shorter episode order should help fix those pesky pacing issues.
