Whenever San Diego Comic-Con rolls around each July, there’s a certain electricity that can be felt in the air even if you don’t have the good fortune of attending the biggest pop culture event around. That’s probably because it’s a certainty we’ll be treated to a hearty helping of brand new trailers for the most anticipated movies and TV shows to be gracing screens both big and small over the next 365 days.

For the eighth year, TV Guide Magazine will be getting in on the action by releasing its Comic-Con Special, set to be chock full of scoops and featuring four collectible covers. Actually, having a variety to choose from is actually the norm, with DC TV shows such as The Flash and Supergirl oftentimes enjoying the glory.

On that note, superhero fans will probably want to get their hands on either cover (or both), with one featuring a formidable trio consisting of the Flash, Green Arrow and Black Lightning and Supergirl standing tall on another. Upon examining the first, I was wondering if we were getting our first look at a new costume to be worn by the Emerald Archer, but it most likely seems to be the season 5 suit oddly lit or color corrected. Still, I wouldn’t rule out him getting some new threads this fall, as each season has featured a different costume, even if the variations were sometimes subtle.

Aside from those, Riverdale and Supernatural will occupy the remaining two covers, with fans of the former being able to look forward to reading an exclusive 20-page Archie comic contained within the magazine itself. In addition to that, a Westworld poster will be yours for the taking.

If you’re able to make it to San Diego, the 88-page extravaganza will be available at the Warner Bros. booth (#4545) throughout Comic-Con beginning on Preview Night. If you don’t plan on being there, you can always find it at your local retailer beginning on July 18.
