Star Wars: The Last Jedi has been dominating headlines all week, with Entertainment Weekly electing the pic as the cover story for their latest issue. Now, however, we might just have our juiciest piece of news yet.

That’s because we’ve just discovered a pretty big clue – if not confirmation – as to who the titular last Jedi is. Unsurprisingly, the web has become rife with theories about who or what the film’s title could be referring to ever since it was announced. Does it mean a singular last Jedi or a bunch of them (Jedi is also the plural term – there’s no such thing as Jedis)? Furthermore, do the titles of Episodes VI-IX form a sentence? The Force Awakens The Last Jedi…..? The list goes on and some of the stuff that people have come up with is actually pretty interesting.

According to a new Star Wars book, however, the person that it refers to is Luke Skywalker. How do we know this? Well, as ComicBook.com points out, there’s a phrase found within that seemingly spoils the surprise, as it reads:

Starkiller Base is vanquished, but Kylo Ren has escaped. Thanks to Rey and her friends, BB-8 brought Luke Skywalker’s coordinates back to the Resistance. On their behalf, Rey travels to the planet Ahch-To, hoping to enlist Luke’s help. While Rey persuades the last Jedi to join the Resistance, look for these rocky features.

Now, this could just be some kind of mistake or perhaps an assumption on the writer’s part and not based on fact, as the studio hasn’t yet actually confirmed who the title of the film’s referring to, but it’s definitely interesting and worth thinking about. Especially since if Luke is indeed the last Jedi and not Rey, it creates a whole lot of questions that we’d like answered.

Directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is expected to take flight on December 15th. Other projects gestating in that iconic galaxy far, far away include an untitled Han Solo origin story – helmed by Ron Howard, it’s on course to hit theatres on May 25th, 2018 – and Star Wars: Episode IX, the Colin Trevorrow-directed sequel that will herald the latest (and final?) chapter in the Skywalker saga come 2019.
