Arrow Cast And Crew Talk Season 6 In New Video

While it could be argued that May's explosive finale which left us on one heck of a cliffhanger is motivation alone to get us to tune in for the season 6 premiere of Arrow, there's certainly much else to look forward to. Off the top of my head, we have Deathstroke returning for several episodes, a new Black Canary sporting one badass costume and yet another DC TV crossover, just to name a few things.

With San Diego Comic-Con being such a massive pop culture event, it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that there’s still information emanating from the five-day convention. That being said, DC All Access just released the latest installment of their web series, with this particular episode containing some revealing conversations conducted with the Arrow cast and crew.

Series lead Stephen Amell started things off with the obvious, stating that Oliver Queen will learn what it is to be a father (we’re guessing William’s mother didn’t make it off the island alive), and that the inaugural episode of season 6 will “begin the ‘unpacking’ of what happened in 5×23.” In other words, expect to learn the many consequences of Prometheus’ actions.

But as much as I love the Green Arrow himself, one aspect of the coming year I’m especially looking forward to is seeing what lies ahead for Black Siren. According to actress Katie Cassidy, we’ll have “opportunities to see Black Siren and the Black Canary again,” further hinting at their inter-dimensional rivalry continuing. Plus, it looks like we can expect to learn Earth-2 Laurel’s backstory, which’ll be like “peeling back an onion,” effectively exploring “why she is the way she is.”

Arrow returns for its sixth season on Thursday, October 12 on The CW.
