Here’s What Brenton Thwaites May Look Like As Nightwing

Casting on Warner's live-action Titans series is beginning to heat up. And fast. This month alone, we've had the back-to-back announcements of Teagan Croft (Raven) and Anna Diop (Starfire), while this week brought word of the headline act. First reported by Deadline, it's now been revealed that Brenton Thwaites of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales fame has been cast as Dick Grayson (AKA Robin) in the live-action series.

This month alone, we’ve had the back-to-back announcements of Teagan Croft (Raven) and Anna Diop (Starfire), while this week brought word of the headline act. First reported by Deadline, it’s now been revealed that Brenton Thwaites of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales fame has been cast as Dick Grayson (AKA Robin) in the live-action series.

Pegged for a 2018 release by Warner Bros. TV, Titans follows “a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson (Thwaites) emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire (Diop), Raven (Croft) and others.” No word yet on who those “others” will be, but already the internet has begun reacting to Thwaites’ casting and of course, that includes some cool art imagining what he may look like in the role.

On that note, fan artist extraordinaire Boss Logic has taken to Twitter, as he so often does, to share his vision of Thwaites as Dick Grayson (seen below), but there’s a twist. You see, the actor was cast as Robin, and the image below has him suited up as Nightwing. As of yet, there’s been nothing to say that Grayson will eventually take up that alter ego on the show, but you’ve gotta admit that if he does, Thwaites would certainly look the part and this photo will no doubt have fans hoping that Grayson evolves from Robin to Nightwing at some point.

We’ll have to wait and see if that ever ends up happening, but for now, you can take a look at Boss Logic’s latest design below and let us know what you think about the cast of Titans in the comments section.
