Now that we know to expect the final trailer for Justice League this coming Sunday, it’s probably safe to say that we’ll all be waiting on pins and needles to see more footage culled from the big screen debut of DC’s premier superhero team. Thankfully, Warner Bros. have found a way to tide us over. Well, that is if you happen to be in the New York area.
So, if you are in that locale and dig these characters, then we highly recommend that you find your way to the AT&T store located at 3 Times Square on October 5-8. In short, you’ll get to see various items from the major motion picture firsthand, in addition to a sweet looking new banner (pictured below) that again reads “You can’t save the world alone.” And, believe me, I’ve tried. It’s not easy.
But, in case you’re wondering, here’s what’ll be waiting if you get the chance to show up:
Fans can see and take pictures with the iconic Batmobile and Bruce Wayne’s tricked-out Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo along Broadway, from 42nd to 44th Streets.
Inside the AT&T store, see incredibly lifelike statues of DC’s iconic Justice League members Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash.
Check out video footage, the coolest props and costumes from the movie, try out VR activities, Join the League yourself, and take home an exclusive poster.
Additionally, comic book legends Geoff Johns and Jim Lee will be on hand on October 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m to sign copies of their modern classic, Justice League Vol. 1: Origin, which has actually been adapted to an animated movie, Justice League: War, in the time since its original publication in 2011. Really, if there’s any good jumping on point for new readers, it’s that.
Now, one has to wonder why this couldn’t have taken place at New York Comic Con, which is also going on this weekend, but I guess it’s all about corporate tie-ins and merchandising these days. Still, if I were to be in the Big Apple during that time, I’d do my best to be in two places at once.
Justice League opens in theaters on November 17.
