The Thinker Makes Himself Known In The Flash Midseason Finale Trailer

Now that the sheer awesomeness that was the "Crisis on Earth-X" crossover is behind us, we're almost ready to go about business as usual. But when you factor in that next week will see each Arrowverse series air their midseason finales, it may take us a little more time to catch our breath.

Now that the sheer awesomeness that was the “Crisis on Earth-X” crossover is behind us, we’re almost ready to go about business as usual. But when you factor in that next week will see each Arrowverse series air their midseason finales, it may take us a little more time to catch our breath.

As you may have noticed, the crossover’s commercial breaks lacked trailers for said midseason finales, perhaps because the network didn’t want to take anybody out of their fluid viewing experiences. Well, thankfully, the promos we’ve been waiting for are starting to trickle online, with The Flash being chief among them.

In the footage provided, we see the Thinker fully put his deadly game into motion. To this point, he’s enjoyed a sort of anonymity and toyed with the S.T.A.R. Labs crew ever so slightly. But now, he’s more than ready to make the lives of the Scarlet Speedster and his friends a living hell, as we can plainly see that the you-know-what is about to hit the fan.

For more information regarding “Don’t Run,” be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

KATEE SACKHOFF RETURNS AS AMUNET – Amunet (guest star Katie Sackhoff) kidnaps Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and puts meta-dampener handcuffs on her to keep her from turning into Killer Frost. Amunet tells Caitlin she needs her to perform a tricky medical task and if Caitlin fails, Amunet will kill her. Meanwhile, The Thinker (guest star Neil Sandilands) traps The Flash (Grant Gustin) in a speedster-proof prison. With the clock ticking, The Team doesn’t have the time or resources to track both Caitlin and Barry so Iris (Candice Patton) is forced to choose who to save. Stefan Pleszczynski directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Judalina Neira (#409). Original airdate 12/5/2017.

The Flash airs on Tuesday nights on The CW.
