3 Of YouTube’s Top 5 Trailers Of 2017 Belong To Marvel Studios

Though the term superhero fatigue gets thrown around a lot when discussing the current cinematic landscape, it seems that at least one studio has nothing to worry about as far as their costumed crusaders go. Of course, we're talking about Marvel, who continue to crank out hit after hit and achieve box office glory with each and every release. It's beyond clear that interest in their films is at an all-time high but just in case you needed more proof, we now have a list of YouTube's top 5 trailers of 2017, and 3 of them belong to the House of Ideas.

Though the term superhero fatigue gets thrown around a lot when discussing the current cinematic landscape, it seems that at least one studio has nothing to worry about as far as their costumed crusaders go. Of course, we’re talking about Marvel, who continue to crank out hit after hit and achieve box office glory with each and every release. It’s beyond clear that interest in their films is at an all-time high but just in case you needed more proof, we now have a list of YouTube’s top 5 trailers of 2017, and 3 of them belong to the House of Ideas.

As you can see in the screenshot down below, the most watched previews this year are as follows: Avengers: Infinity War (88m), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (42m), IT (45m), Thor: Ragnarok (46m) and Black Panther (33m). Now, it’s important to note that this only takes into account the views from one channel. So, while the Infinity War trailer surpassed 197m views in just one day, that number was a combined figure from multiple channels. Make sense?

Whichever way you look at it, there’s no denying that people are still clamoring for everything and anything superheroes. Or at least, everything and anything Marvel.

As for what’s next for the studio, well, 2018 is shaping up to be a pretty massive year for them. First we’ve got the aforementioned Black Panther, which will be with us on February 16th. Following that, we’ll then see Infinity War on May 4th and finally, Ant-Man and the Wasp on July 6th. Exciting, right?

Suffice it to say, it’s a good time to be a Marvel fan and while it remains to be seen whether their trio of films in 2018 will match up to the success of what they put out this year, we’re feeling pretty confident that they’ll have no trouble hitting a few more home runs at the box office. After all, if those aforementioned trailers are any indication – which, they are – then it’s painfully obvious that the juggernaut that is Marvel Studios shows no signs of slowing down.
