Though Justice League was effectively torn to shreds by critics, Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen (AKA the Flash) still managed to resonate with moviegoers all over the world.

It was by no means his first appearance in the DC Extended Universe – that distinction belongs to Suicide Squad – but Justice League really allowed Miller to settle into Warner’s supercharged universe, and provide one or two belly laughs in the process.

All of this has left us cautiously optimistic for Flashpoint, the forthcoming solo movie designed to reverse engineer the DCEU and its most crucial moments – the death of Batman’s parents, for instance – so it’s small wonder why the long-gestating Barry Allen spinoff has emerged as one of the most-anticipated DC films in years. Decades, even.

But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, Reddit (via Heroic Hollywood) has spotted the latest behind-the-scenes photo for Justice League, which sees the Flash limbering up for a scene. It’s difficult to say for sure, but this appears to be the interior of the Flying Fox, Bruce Wayne’s super-sized aircraft carrier that quickly becomes Justice League’s headquarters once Steppenwolf wages war against Earth.

It’s a bright and breezy addition to the growing collection of Justice League set photos, which, if nothing else, offers budding fans a welcome peek behind the curtain. All of this can also be seen as a tantalizing teaser for the film’s inevitable home video release, though anyone holding out for the fabled Zack Snyder cut needn’t get their hopes up.

Justice League initially opened to middling reviews and a lowly box office cume back in November, and is now expected to limp toward a final haul of $650 million. To put that into perspective, Star Wars: The Last Jedi has cleared $800 million in only two weeks, so take from that what you will.
