LEGO Description For Avengers: Infinity War Hints At A Surprising Team-Up

Two crucial scenes of Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War have seemingly leaked online via a LEGO description, of all things.

Not for the first time, a LEGO description for Avengers: Infinity War has placed the Marvel fanbase on red alert.

Amid talk of Thor’s souped-up weapon – Mjolnir out; Jarnbjorn in? – Super Bro Movies has uncovered new intel pertaining to the Hulk and the Sorcerer Supreme himself, Doctor Strange. Each alleged story clue was weaned from a LEGO description, of all things, so proceed with caution. Not only that, but there were one or two typos peppered across the text, which only leaves us feeling all the more skeptical.

Nevertheless, in the spirit of some good old-fashioned speculation, let’s deduce the potential story clues buried in each LEGO description. Up first is “The Hulkbuster Fight,” which seemingly points to a battle against Proxima Midnight, a high-ranking lieutenant among Thanos’ Black Order.

The Hulkbuster Fight

Minifigures include: Proxima Midnight, Falcon, Hulk/Bruce Banner, Soul Stone

Danger! Proxima Midnight captured the shooting tower and shoots on Hulkbuster Bruce Banner!

Smash the missile installation of the shooting tower with the powerful fist of Hulkbuster and crush the six-armed enemy. Reflect the punches of the Proxima Midnight. Order the Falcon to dive down to take away the stone of infinity of souls.

Arguably the more intriguing of the two is “The Battle in the Sanctum Sanctorum,” as it allegedly drafts Spider-Man into the mix. Should these rumors hold true, he’ll be swinging into action alongside Doctor Strange and Iron Man as they rise up against Cull Obsidian and Ebony Maw – again, members of the Black Order.

Via LEGO:

The Battle in the Sanctum Sanctorum

Minifigures include: Cull Obsidian, Ebony Maw, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Spider-Man

Emergency! Kull Obsidian and Ebony Mo are attacking the Holy of Holies of Dr. Strange!

Together with the Spiderman, jump off them from the roof. Unite with the Iron Man and Dr. Strange and use their powers to repel supervillains. If Ebony Mo is able to penetrate the bedroom of Peter Parker, lead him from there through the secret hatch.

You must stop the evil invaders before they blow up the wall of the Holy of Holies Dr. Strange and get the stone of infinity of time. After defeating your enemies, order pizza and celebrate it with Peter Parker!

So, there you have it; another potential Infinity War story clue to mull over. Truth be told, it’s difficult to imagine a scenario in which Marvel would willingly include major plot points for Avengers 3 in a toy line – especially a toy line that’s available five months before release – but we digress.

One way or another, we’ll find out soon enough if this is all accurate, as after 10 years and 17 movies worth of build-up –Black Panther notwithstanding – Avengers: Infinity War is prepped and ready to deliver a huge climax on May 4th, 2018. Select international countries, including the United Kingdom, will welcome Marvel’s sequel a little early, which only highlights the continuing importance of the overseas box office.
