Now, as you know, we tend to see annuals be released in the latter portions of a given month. Often telling self-contained stories or kicking off or concluding a story arc, these oversized specials tend to give True Believers real bang for their buck.

As it turns out, Marvel will continue shining the spotlight on the Mad Titan this spring with the release of Thanos Annual #1, which will see “Cosmic Ghost Rider narrate all of Thanos’ heinous exploits. And who better to guide you through such deeds than the newest twisted ally to enter the Marvel Universe?”

Like many annuals that have come before, a variety of top creators will be lending their talents. In this instance, Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw will be joined by the likes of Kieron Gillen, Al Ewing, Ryan North, Christopher Hastings, Katie Cook and Frazer Irving. Hey, they may not be Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, but that’s a pretty formidable group that’s been assembled.

Speaking of which, here’s what Cates had to say about this opportunity:

“I am so excited to delve further into the Mad Titan and his Cosmic Ghost Rider…friend, and this Annual is a murderer’s row of talent that is not to be missed!. Come and explore the worst deeds Thanos has ever performed…but uh…don’t plan on sleeping any time soon!”

Thanos Annual #1 arrives in comic shops on April 25.
