Exclusive Preview: A New Day Dawns In Teen Titans #17

For me, it always makes for an interesting read whenever you see the immediate fallout explored after a major event or story arc concludes. Really, I like to be assured that there are consequences and actually happen to be a comic book reader that's not opposed to change.

Well, in the next issue of Teen Titans, expect to see how the recently concluded “Super Sons of Tomorrow” continues to affect some of DC’s most popular adolescent heroes. And yes, we’re talking about the very same tale that included the awesomely insane version of Tim Drake from an alternate timeline.

Thanks to DC Entertainment, we’re able to exclusively present some of the first images taken from the next chapter in the ongoing saga, each of which can be viewed in the accompanying gallery.

In it, we see the gang begin to pick up the pieces following the destruction of Titans Tower, with Beast Boy especially being in a rough place. But as artist Scot Eaton – who is equal parts George Perez and Darwyn Cooke in this case – illustrates, they’ll quickly move forward in the only way they know how: By being heroes.

For more info, be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

“The Following” part one! In the aftermath of “Super Sons of Tomorrow” the Teen Titans are left without a place to call home. But a Titan’s work is never finished, and when a series of strange murders crop up in San Francisco, it’s up to the team to crack the case and prevent further bloodshed. Are the killings the work of a single serial killer…or is there a greater conspiracy at work?

Teen Titans #17 arrives in comic shops next Wednesday, February 28.
