Avengers: Infinity War TV Spot Contains New Line Of Dialogue

It's been an unbelievably busy week in the Marvel camp, what with Entertainment Weekly blowing the lid right off Joe and Anthony Russo's Avengers: Infinity War to reveal new photos, new suits, and a very familiar Mad Titan, whose "horrific" masterplan will seemingly bring Earth (and perhaps even the entire universe!) to its knees.

Without divulging too much, too soon, it’s a tactic that involves all six Infinity Stones and Thanos’ fabled home planet, Titan, which appears to be the Martian-like world glimpsed in that awesome first teaser trailer. Speaking of which, amid all the hype and astronomical levels of excitement generated by Entertainment Weekly’s ongoing coverage one question remains: when can we expect that next preview to drop?

At this point, we still don’t have an exact date, but speculation points to Tuesday. Why? Well, because Entertainment Tonight is premiering a “special look” tomorrow and the day after that, the embargo on set reports lifts. As such, it’d make perfect sense for Marvel to ride the wave of hype that’ll all generate and release the trailer then. But until we’ve got some firm answers, we do have a new TV spot to share with you.

Seen up above, there isn’t anything here that we haven’t already laid eyes on, but there is a brand new piece of dialogue, with an ominous voice teasing that “the end is near.” Who says it is still up for debate, but fans are speculating it’s either Thanos (though it doesn’t really sound like him) or perhaps Ebony Maw. At this point, we don’t have an answer, but it’s certainly a line that we haven’t heard before and serves as yet another reminder that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are in for the fight of their life this April.

Because with the Mad Titan finally set to step out of the shadows and show us his true power, Iron Man and co. will have their work cut out for them if they’re to survive and save the world. Not everyone will make it out alive, either – as we keep being told – and you can bet when the lights go down in theaters on April 27th and Avengers: Infinity War begins, we’ll be saying goodbye to some of our favorites.
