PC Gaming Is Not Dead, According To Mysterious Razer Site

Viral advertising: it's a miracle of modern PR. Take a look at the latest example. PC Gaming Is Not Dead isn't directly selling a product, in fact, it's announcing a date for a reveal, it lasts a good amount of time with very little information actually passed along. And, as a self-confessed non-PC gamer, even I can't help but be interested in what Razer, the company that own the website, have up their sleeve.

Viral advertising: it’s a miracle of modern PR. Take a look at the latest example. PC Gaming Is Not Dead isn’t directly selling a product, in fact, it’s announcing a date for a reveal, it lasts a good amount of time with very little information actually passed along. And, as a self-confessed non-PC gamer, even I can’t help but be interested in what Razer, the company that own the website, have up their sleeve.

Will it be some new gaming component? Perhaps an exciting new mouse with a button for every occasion. Your guess is as good as mine, but somehow I get the feeling that the only people who will be excited at the end of the week (and inevitably buy the product) are people who have already invested a lot into PC gaming in the first place.

The reveal is coming this Friday.
