We’ve known for a while that the episode would feature the return of at least one fan favourite character – namely, anti-hero cowboy Jonah Hex, and now, the official synopsis reveals what else we can expect from the installment, which is punningly-titled “The Good, The Bad and the Cuddly.”

Here’s the full summary, courtesy of The CW.

The Legends plan to vanquish Mallus by using the totems doesn’t go as planned, forcing Rip (guest star Arthur Darvill) to improvise.  The team finds itself regrouping in the Wild West where they run into their old pal Jonah Hex (guest star Johnathon Schaech).

Sara (Caity Lotz) leaves Ray (Brandon Routh) in charge of watching Damien Darhk (Neal McDonaugh), while she comes up with a new plan.  Meanwhile, Amaya (Maisie Richarson-Sellers) is determined to find a way to use the totems to destroy Mallus.  Dominic Purcell, Tala Ashe, Keiynan Lonsdale, Nick Zano and Franz Drameh also star.  Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Phil Klemmer (#318).

During the second half of the season, the Legends have been hunting down the six Zambezi totems in a bid to stop John Noble’s evil entity Mallus. However, this synopsis reveals that the plan might not come together as the heroes would have hoped, meaning they have to think up an alternate solution. Apparently, that will involve recruiting some old pals and returning to one of the show’s favourite time periods: the Wild West.

He’s not mentioned in this synopsis, but we do know that Jonah Hex won’t be the only ally returning in the finale. Matt Ryan’s occult detective John Constantine will also be back for the fourth time this year. It’s likely that the episode will set up the fact that he’s joining the cast as a regular player for season 4, too.

A photo shared by Caity Lotz also heavily suggests that Sara Lance will don her classic Black Canary costume, which we haven’t seen since the early years of Arrow, in the episode – though we don’t yet know why that is.

Be sure to catch Legends of Tomorrow Mondays on The CW. “The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly,” meanwhile, brings the season to a close on April 9th.
