New Avengers: Infinity War Banners Tease Exciting Team-Ups

The promotional campaign for Avengers: Infinity War has kicked into high gear now and today sees the release of several new banners.

As far as Avengers: Infinity War‘s release schedule is concerned, Marvel Studios has officially entered crunch time.

The film is finished, of course, but with only nine days left to go, the Powers That Be are beginning to tread that fine line between promoting Infinity War and spoiling Infinity War. From clips to TV spots and everything in between, we’ve seen an awful lot from the event movie in recent weeks and today, that continues with some brand new banners.

Thankfully, though, these don’t spoil anything at all, instead teasing us with what are sure to be some exciting team-ups. There’s one of the several Avengers assembled together, but we also get shots of Cap and Thor, Black Widow and Black Panther and, perhaps most intriguing of all, Doctor Strange and Iron Man.

That last duo’s of particular interest as we’ve heard a lot already about their dynamic in the film. They’re both very different heroes, of course, with the former deriving his powers from magic while the latter is a genius scientist, but they do have similar sarcastic, arguably arrogant personalities. That being said, we imagine that they won’t get along at first, which should be fun to watch.

Again, these shots are hardly very revealing, but frankly, that’s okay. Because with only nine days left until release, Marvel Studios is seriously running the risk of spoiling Avengers: Infinity War prior to its grand debut. A film of this size and scope practically sells itself (it has upwards of 23 heroes, for crying out loud!), so we’re hopeful that those in charge will start to rein things in now that April 27th is right around the corner.

And when Avengers: Infinity War does arrive, it’ll reportedly be looking at an opening weekend in the region of $235 million. How’s that for a slice of fried gold?
