Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary To Support 3D

If you have access to a 3D TV, you don’t only have to deal with my jealousy towards you – it has other advantages. One such advantage is that you’ll get to play the most visually impressive version of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary this November, with the announcement that it will support 3D.

From CVG:

“Guilty Spark is a fun level to show 3D because you’re in the jungle, you’ve got foliage going by, plasma bolts flying over your head… it’s a fun way to increase the immersion of the game and again if you’ve got the technology, you definitely want to take advantage of it.”

Having seen some impressive examples of 3D video games at last year’s Eurogamer Expo, I can understand why people get excited about announcements like these. It really does have the potential to make a game better, not just visually, but more immersive as well.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary releases on the XBOX 360 on November 15th. Let us know if you’ll be playing the game in 3D.
