Offering some hints as to what we can expect is a freshly released gallery of images culled from season 6’s concluding episode, which, of course, don’t blow the doors off the finale, but it is possible to connect certain plot points if you’re paying close attention.

There’s not too much to discuss here when it comes to the Green Arrow himself, but we can see that he and the team have indeed established a shaky alliance with the FBI, so it remains to be seen if our theory stating Oliver Queen made a deal on the condition he turn himself in when this is over pans out. But at least we get an image of the Emerald Archer that’s downright iconic near the end of the gallery to enjoy.

Elsewhere, we’re able to glimpse a confrontation involving Quentin Lance and Ricardo Diaz, which we think won’t turn out well for Star City’s newest mayor. With Paul Blackthorne set to exit the series after this season, one can naturally assume the bell will soon toll for his character. It may be somewhat of a leap, but it’s very possible that the reason for Caity Lotz’s return to the show as Sara could be for her onscreen father’s funeral.

Speaking of Lances, putting together the puzzle pieces allows us to place Black Siren screaming for vengeance in a meeting of her own with Diaz. As more information comes to light, it appears she’s well on her path to redemption and very possibly the “new ally” to Team Arrow teased in the following synopsis for “Life Sentence”:

THE EPIC SEASON FINALE OF ARROW — With a new ally on his team, Oliver (Stephen Amell) engages Diaz (guest star Kirk Acevedo) in an epic final battle. James Bamford directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Marc Guggenheim (#623). Original airdate 5/17/2018.

The season finale of Arrow airs on Thursday night on The CW.
