Ryan Reynolds Is Still Hoping For Deadpool To Join The Avengers

Earlier this week, an image depicting Deadpool taking a stroll alongside Captain America began making the rounds online. Obviously, the picture in question turned out to be nothing more than an incredibly well done photoshop job, but that didn’t stop one eager fan from fishing out the truth from Wade Wilson himself.

In stereotypical Canadian fashion, the pride of Vancouver, Ryan Reynolds, can’t help being the most friendly son of a gun on the planet. Then again, I suppose if my R-rated farce, aka Deadpool 2, currently sat at $665 million worldwide, I’d be playful, too.

A few days ago, the wearer of the “big red body condom” added another A-lister to his already impressive Rolodex of playmates in the form of Kanye West. After Yeezy made it known that he loves “both Deadpool movies” and “would have cleared his music” for the Merc with a Mouth, Reynolds quickly, almost instinctively, acknowledged the American rapper, confirming that he agreed and would be “having a word with Celine Dion.”

Now, the unconventionally foul-mouthed Canuck is at it once again, this time hoping to turn another superhero outside of his cinematic universe, Captain America, into his latest bestie. As you may have seen, an image depicting Deadpool taking a stroll alongside Cap began making the rounds online and though it’s nothing more than an incredibly well done Photoshop job, that didn’t stop one eager fan from fishing out the truth from Reynolds himself.

Twitter user @khanhammad540g1 Tweeted at the actor and asked him if the photo was genuine, to which he perfectly replied, as he always does, “it’s real in my heart.” It’s real in our heart, too, Ryan.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Reynolds has become entangled with someone outside of his cinematic universe. In fact, it’s kind of become a regular occurrence. Earlier this year, the Merc with a Mouth somehow managed to play nice with DC heroine Gal Gadot before making plans with Guardians Of The Galaxy kingpin James Gunn for an elaborate crossover between the two irreverent franchises.

Whether that ever happens or not remains to be seen, but you can now catch the actor on the big screen at a theater near you, as Deadpool 2‘s still playing nationwide and given the box office business it’s doing, it won’t be going anywhere for a while.
