Chris Pratt Calls For Calm Ahead Of Avengers 4: “We Got Your Back”

Chatting to Josh Horowitz of MTV, Chris Pratt called for calm ahead of Avengers 4, and joked about the lineup for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Since earning his big break on Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt has never been too far away from blockbuster territory.

Between his ongoing role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Universal’s rebooted Jurassic World series, Pratt has enjoyed a number of high-profile parts in recent years, and that red-hot streak looks set to continue far beyond 2020, when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is expected to reach theaters.

Before that, though, comes Avengers 4, the top-secret Marvel sequel that’s already made serious waves in the wake of Infinity War. But while chatting with Josh Horowitz of MTV (h/t ComicBook.com), Chris Pratt called for calm, and assured viewers that Marvel’s fourth Avengers movie is in safe hands.

You don’t want to ask too much because you don’t want to poke inside the gift that’s under the tree. Just wait, you’ll see. Just wait, you’ll see. We got your back, baby. Don’t worry.

The Fallen Kingdom actor was then quizzed about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which is due to begin filming in January of 2019. And when it does, it’ll seemingly begin drafting up a “very, very different” adventure for our spacefaring A-holes. But it definitely won’t take place in the past; nor will it feature the Blue Man Group in prominent roles, despite what Pratt says.

“They’ve cast the Blue Man Group. It’s gonna be all Blue Man Group! Oh, I’m not supposed to say anything! Everyone’s gonna be mad! It’s the Blue Man Group. It’s an Andy Griffith hologram. They’re the new Guardians. It’s gonna be amazing.”

Next up on the MCU docket is Ant-Man and the Wasp, before 2019 heralds the back-to-back release of Captain Marvel and Avengers 4. And Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? May 2020, providing everything goes according to plan.
