The curious minds of Reddit have cobbled together a series of alleged story clues pertaining to Avengers 4, and they may well shed new light on Marvel’s super-secret blockbuster.
Currently bracing for a summer of reshoots, it’s fair to say that the Joe and Anthony Russo sequel has been draped in a thick veil of mystery ever since it was first revealed to the world as Infinity War – Part 2. That subtitle has since been ditched entirely in favor of, well, nothing, and the subsequent radio silence surrounding Avengers 4‘s moniker has only provided yet more fodder for the rumor mill.
Speaking of which, a Redditor by the name of ‘abigfriend’ (h/t Screen Rant) has put forward a new report claiming that Avengers 4 will herald the curtain call for Marvel’s Phase One heroes (read: Iron Man, Thor, Captain America et. al), after all.
And it doesn’t end there, either, as the alleged intel goes on to highlight a series of Avengers 4 plot points, which ought to be treated with heightened caution. They can be traced back to Reddit, for crying out loud! With that said, grab your tin-foil hats and let’s get to it.
Still with us? Word is Avengers 4 will place a laser focus on the fractured relationship between Thanos and Nebula, and the latter is responsible for guiding Tony Stark back to Earth. Not only that, but it takes place a full three months after its predecessor, which actually aligns with previous rumors.
And that’s just it; many of those supposed plot points read like recycled rumors from a few weeks ago, as they claim Avengers 4 revolves around Earth’s Mightiest Heroes “using the Quantum Realm to collect the stones,” while “each stone collected in the past will erase the stone Thanos currently has.”
The kicker? There’s also mention of the Soul Stone, which is said to be where all of Marvel’s fallen heroes were transported at the tail-end of Infinity War.
