Former Legends Of Tomorrow Boss Reveals Season 4 Premiere Title

To be honest, I'm quite pleased and surprised by the steady flow of news pertaining to the Arrowverse that has emerged during the off-season. Really, at this time of the year, it can go either way, as us DC fans may have to endure an information drought accompanying the absences of our favorite shows.

To be honest, I’m quite pleased and surprised by the steady flow of news pertaining to the Arrowverse that’s emerged during the off-season. Really, at this time of the year, it can go either way, as us DC fans may have to endure an information drought accompanying the absences of our favorite shows.

So, as shooting on Legends of Tomorrow and its various sister series commences this month, expect to hear much more about whatever the fall may bring – especially when you consider that San Diego Comic-Con is just weeks away!

Now, we’ve already learned what Arrow‘s season premiere will be titled, but what of Legends itself? Well, thanks to former executive producer and co-showrunner Marc Guggenheim (via Twitter), who now serves as an executive consultant on both series mentioned, the first episode of season 4 to air will be dubbed “The Virgin Gary.”

Of course, this is in reference to the Time Bureau’s Gary Green, played by Adam Tsekhman. To be fair, we doubt the premiere will revolve around some goofy “let’s get this dude laid” type of plot, but we’ve known for the show to embrace its comedic element even more in the past year. I mean, who would’ve guessed that Mallus was going to be taken down by a giant blue stuffed animal?

Considering how mystical creatures will present the major threats in the coming year, perhaps this has something to do with Gary being chosen as a sacrifice of some sort due to him being a virgin. If so, finding him someone to boink could, in fact, be on the Waverider crew’s agenda so that his life may be saved. At this point, all we can do is tune in and find out.

Legends of Tomorrow returns for its fourth season on Monday, October 22 on The CW.
