New Spider-Man: Far From Home Set Photo Teases Trouble To Come

While actor Martin Starr’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was technically a small role in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, the Silicon Valley and Freaks and Geeks star didn’t truly make his mark on the franchise until he took on the part of Mr. Harrington, with his deadpan delivery serving as an enjoyable addition to last year’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. Perhaps his most fondly remembered moment comes after Spider-Man saves the class from danger in Washington, D.C., at which point the teacher comments with relief that he couldn’t bear to lose a student on a school trip “again.”

Now, with a newly released set photo from the upcoming Far From Home, we see another opportunity for things to go wrong on one of Harrington’s class outings – and they probably will.

The labelled pic sees Starr outside of the Tower of London along with Jacob Batalon and Zendaya, who’ll be reprising their roles as Ned and MJ respectively. The group seem to be looking out onto the River Thames where there may be some action taking place. What exactly is drawing their gaze on the water remains to be seen, but by all means, Hydro-Man theorists, get creative.

Speaking of supervillains, another familiar face recently spotted in the UK capital is actor Jake Gyllenhaal, suggesting that Mysterio could be the one to continue Mr. Harrington’s unlucky run of field trip incidents. From the looks of things, this next film is likely to see Peter continue in his struggle to balance his duties as Spider-Man with his obligations as a student, all while keeping his identity a secret. Let’s just hope his Academic Decathlon coach won’t have another tragedy to add to his list when Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out on July 5th, 2019.
