Proving there’s still life after Avengers 4, a Redditor by the name of ‘TheDocOfWho’ has produced a really rather awesome fan poster which imagines Marvel’s Phase 4 line-up beyond 2019.

Front and center is Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, the galaxy’s newest (and most powerful!) costumed crusader, who’s pictured spearheading a new-look Avengers cast comprised of Hawkeye, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Black Widow, Thor, Scarlet Witch, a greyed-out Vision, Spider-Man, Riri Williams as Ironheart, the Wasp and a teeny-tiny Ant-Man who’s perched on the shoulders of Clint Barton.

Last and certainly not least, we have Bucky Barnes wielding the famous Captain America shield, hinting that Sebastian Stan’s anti-hero is next in line to pick up the mantle from his old buddy, Steve Rogers. It’s a rumored transition that’s been kicking about for months, though Marvel is still keeping Bucky’s true fate (and the fate of the star-spangled patriot) under lock and key for the time being.

The same can also be said for most, if not all of the characters populating Avengers 4 – especially those dusted by Thanos during the remarkably bleak finale of Infinity War.

We have a sneaking suspicion that Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel will be the one to tip the scales come 2019 though, and ensure Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have the upper hand on the visibly wounded Thanos, who’s since retired to some far-flung planet (Titan, perhaps?) to watch the sun rise over a ‘grateful’ universe.

All will be revealed once the standalone Captain Marvel movie checks into theaters early next year, by which point we should have a better understanding of both Avengers 4 and what to expect from Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hold onto your butts, folks, things are about to go nuclear.
