Nora Helps Her Parents In New Photo From The Flash Season 5

The CW has released a new photo from season 5 of The Flash, which shows Nora helping her parents (Barry and Iris) out with something.

The Flash always ends its season on a shocking, game-changing cliffhanger, and season 4 was no different. The final moments revealed to us that Jessica Parker Kennedy’s mystery girl was Nora West-Allen, Barry and Iris’ daughter from the future. That’s sure to throw the Scarlet Speedster and his wife for a loop when The CW show returns for its fifth season.

Though the exact ramifications of Nora returning to the past aren’t clear just yet, we do know that her presence there will be the source of some trouble for Barry and Iris. But it won’t be all doom and gloom, for a new photo has just been released by TV Line and as you can see in the gallery below, the gang looks pretty happy.

We see Nora at the computer with her parents and though we’re not sure what exactly’s happening in this scene, or even what episode it’s taken from, the family certainly appears content.

While they might be smiling for this photo, as we mentioned above, a rift will begin to form as season 5 kicks off. In fact, Kennedy recently told us that she’s much closer with her dad than her mom, which apparently creates some tension between her and Iris.

“Something has obviously happened for me to feel much closer to my father than my mother. It’s something you’ll find out relatively early on in the season,” said Kennedy.

So, what could it be that causes this family rift in the future? Why does Nora fall out with Iris and what makes her hold a grudge against her mom’s younger self? Maybe things don’t work out for the West-Allens in the future and they divorce, with Nora possibly placing the blame on Iris? Or perhaps it’s something even worse than that?

Only time will tell, but we don’t have long to go before we find out, as The Flash returns for its fifth season on Tuesday, October 9 on The CW.
