Tom Holland Shares New Spider-Man: Far From Home Set Pic From Venice

Peter Parker himself, Tom Holland, has shared a new photo via Instagram of the Spider-Man: Far From Home crew enjoying life in Venice, Italy.

As one of the biggest comic book movies currently in active development, it’s not all that surprising that Spider-Man: Far From Home has been operating under an intense media spotlight – to the point where every scene is tracked and monitored by a wave of curious onlookers and photographers.

It’s resulted in some pretty revealing set photos, too, what with previous pics showing what appears to be Peter Parker’s famous stealth suit, and how it fits into the Far From Home story.

We already know that Parker and his friends have embarked on a trip around Europe, where they’ll no doubt encounter Quentin Beck (AKA Mysterio) and his genius-level intellect. Before all that, though, it seems Tom Holland and his co-stars Zendaya (Michelle Jones) and Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds) are soaking up the sun while cruising along the canals of Venice, Italy.

And that’s it, really. This photo was originally posted to Tom Holland’s personal Instagram account, and while the young MCU favorite has been guilty of divulging one or two spoilers ahead of time, this latest pic is nothing more than a group shot featuring the core players of Spider-Man: Far From Home. And they’re certainly enjoying some R&R after a number of days spent filming in Prague.

Exactly what this shift in location will entail is up for question, though we assume it has something to do with the advent of Mysterio, Far From Home‘s big villain who may well forge an unlikely alliance with Vulture. That’s right; Michael Keaton’s blue-collar maniac isn’t out of the picture just yet.

Spider-Man: Far From Home sees a release on July 5th, 2019 and will be instrumental in establishing the parameters of Marvel’s Phase 4 in 2019 and beyond. No pressure, then…
