If you’ll recall, the first trailer for the highly anticipated series finally dropped last month and left pretty much everybody impressed. This time, though, we’re able to bring you an even longer promo that can be viewed at the top of this article.

As you can see, the second effort fleshes out this macabre world so much more by teasing supporting characters and assuring us that there’s still much in the way of humor and fun to be found. Regardless, the material is about as dark as it gets, as the titular character is tightly wrapped up in the occult.

Being someone who’s read the comics, I’m delighted to see how this production looks very much accurate to the books, yet there are a variety of surprises in store. Maybe it’s just me, but I get somewhat of a Craft vibe at certain points.

Now that Sabrina has been afforded two, ten-episode seasons to showcase her blackest magic in practice, I can’t help wondering if anything else from the Archie Horror line will be granted live action adaptations. It stands to reason that I’m not the only one dying to see Afterlife with Archie brought to life, but there may be difficulty with that getting off the ground due to all of the same characters existing over on The CW’s Riverdale. Perhaps they could do annual Halloween specials as once suggested, but I’m not the one making creative decisions.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premieres on Friday, October 26th on Netflix.
