Mark Ruffalo May’ve Dropped An Avengers 4 Spoiler On Jimmy Fallon

By now, Mark Ruffalo's total inability to keep secrets regarding the projects he stars in is nothing short of epic. After all, it was mostly because of his and Tom Holland's blabbermouths that Marvel chose to give the cast either only portions of the script or entirely fake scenes for Avengers: Infinity War. Despite this, though, Ruffalo still couldn't help himself from spilling the beans and actually, believe it or not, revealed the devastating ending of the event movie to the press.

By now, Mark Ruffalo’s total inability to keep secrets regarding the projects he stars in is nothing short of epic. After all, it was mostly because of his and Tom Holland’s blabbermouths that Marvel chose to give the cast either only portions of the script or entirely fake scenes for Avengers: Infinity War. Despite this, though, Ruffalo still couldn’t help himself from spilling the beans and actually, believe it or not, revealed the devastating ending of the event movie to the press.

No really, we’re not kidding. At D23 back in 2017, the actor was doing an interview when he said: “Wait ’til you see this next one. Everybody dies!” Of course, we all assumed he was just joking at the time, but between that and accidentally streaming the first 20 or so minutes of Thor: Ragnarok onto the internet, it’s clear that Mark Ruffalo is not to be trusted.

Now, proving once again that you need to be very, very careful with what you tell him, the Hulk actor has revealed that he accidentally dropped a Marvel spoiler – presumably for Avengers 4 – on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. It’s unclear what exactly he let slip, but here’s what Ruffalo Tweeted out earlier today:

.@JimmyFallon, I trust that you will cut my spoiler slip on the show tonight. That was “off the record” homey. Please don’t get me in trouble with Marvel (Barry) again. DM me back.

It remains to be seen if Jimmy will listen to him, but already fans are speculating on what he could’ve revealed. Some think he accidentally said Avengers 4‘s title, while others think he might’ve let slip what happens to the Hulk. At this point, it’s hard to say, but we’ll certainly be tuning in tonight to see if Fallon left the spoiler in the show or if he respected Ruffalo’s request.

Either way, though, the next time someone bemoans Tom Holland’s inability to keep a secret, please remind them that Mark Ruffalo isn’t exactly a saint when it comes to keeping Marvel’s most precious intel under wraps.
