Zack Snyder Filmed Enough Justice League Footage For Two Movies, According To Ray Fisher

Victor Stone himself, Ray Fisher, has come out to claim that Zack Snyder shot enough Justice League footage to fill two movies.

Here’s your bizarre DC tidbit for the week: Ray Fisher, the man responsible for Justice League‘s Cyborg, believes writer-director Zack Snyder captured enough footage to fill two whole movies.

Fisher’s comments came during the Heroes and Villains Fan Fest in New Jersey last month (h/t ComicBook.com), where the actor admitted that Justice League was originally conceived as the first in a trilogy of DC ensemble movies – a trilogy that seemingly would’ve elevated the character of Victor Stone/Cyborg to God-like status. Or, in the words of Fisher, “one of, if not the most powerful metahumans in the entire canon.”

Asked straight-up about Snyder’s vision for Justice League, Fisher responded as so:

We’re not finished just yet, so I don’t know how specific the ‘end result’ is. But what I will say is Zack had very specific plans for Cyborg, and for his trajectory. And Zack probably shot enough footage in the first film to make like two movies out of. He definitely had a whole, I believe, a trilogy in mind, with respect to Justice League. And if his vision had sort of come to fruition, Cyborg would have probably been one of, if not the most powerful, metahuman in the entire canon, in the film universe. And that’s just one of the crazy things about Zack, is that he can take someone who’s such a newcomer and evolve their powers to the point where, you know, Cyborg is like ‘S tier.’

This isn’t the first time that Ray Fisher has alluded to the surplus of Justice League footage (?) wasting away at Warner Bros., effectively feeding into the admittedly questionable narrative that a full-blown Snyder Cut exists somewhere out there in the realm of cyberspace.

The plot thickens? Unlikely, as Fisher’s co-star Henry Cavill, who recently announced that Justice League would mark his final appearance as the Man of Steel, already debunked any claims about that fabled Snyder Cut. But as always, the debate will rage on and you can make yourself heard in the comments section down below.
